About Me

Hi, I’m Daphne Monro, Head of Brand at Learn to Trade, where I lead brand strategy, content, digital experience, and audience engagement across the business.

My career has been built at the intersection of brand, content, websites, SEO, and customer experience, helping organisations communicate more effectively and create meaningful connections with their audiences. From large-scale website projects and rebrands to content strategies that drive growth, my focus is always on creating experiences that are clear, engaging, and deliver measurable results.

I’ve led international teams, managed projects across multiple markets, and worked closely with stakeholders across marketing, technology, and commercial functions to turn strategic goals into tangible outcomes.

Beyond the metrics, I’m passionate about the future of digital, the impact of AI on how people discover and consume information, and building brands that earn trust through authenticity, innovation, and great customer experiences. Above all, I care about clear communication, practical solutions, and helping both businesses and people grow.

MKGO #8 - "The Future of Search"

Join me at MKGO #8 on Thursday, 13 November 2025 at 5:30pm for my talk, “The Future of Search.” With YouTube citations in Google’s AI Overviews up 25% since early 2024 and users increasingly turning to TikTok and YouTube as their go-to search platforms, it’s clear that rich media is redefining SEO. In this session, we’ll explore how video content drives higher click-through rates, longer dwell times, and stronger rankings across both Google and generative AI engines. We’ll dive into how transcripts make videos more indexable, accessible, and discoverable — and why that matters for both traditional SERPs and LLM results. Click here to get the deck!

What I do

I bridge marketing and development, so strategy translates into measurable impact. Alongside this, I lead and grow high-performing teams, building clear processes and agile workflows that deliver results at scale — increasing sales, driving revenue growth, and improving ROI.

Content & thought leadership

I define the voice and narrative for brands, shaping how they communicate across websites, blogs, webinars, in person events and campaigns. My focus is on creating content that balances clarity with authority; the kind of thought leadership that positions a company as trusted, while keeping the message simple and human.

Tech & execution

I work across the technical layer of websites. From tech SEO and site performance to front-end development. I scope and manage large migrations, oversee site architecture, and plan agile sprints. On the execution side, I write and refine specs, test features, and collaborate directly with developers on navigation systems, pricing widgets, and dynamic content.

Leadership & team building

I’ve built and led cross-functional teams of developers, marketers, and specialists. My approach is pragmatic and collaborative: setting clear goals, creating space for people to thrive, and holding us accountable to results. I enjoy mentoring, sharing knowledge, and building cultures where people feel energised to do their best work while continueing to learn and grow.
